The course is ideal for E1 Certifiers, Swimming Pool Compliance Officers and A category Building Certifiers as it aims to clarify and reinforce your understanding of the requirements of AS 1926.1 in a way that is consistent with industry expectations and practice. In particular, we will cover the requirements relating to: • Objects, landscaping, ground level and the like located adjacent to barriers • Climbable objects within Non-climbable zones • Measuring barrier heights above stairs • The requirements for glass barriers and gates • What to look for when checking the operation of gate latches The course will also include an assessment tasks which must be completed before being presented with your certificate.
